Meet Our Platinum Sponsors - Gittins & Co Wealth Management!

Gittins & Co. Wealth Management, based in Pulford Grange on the Chester Road in Pulford, are a local specialised financial planning business.  Working closely with their clients, Gittins and Co ensure that their long standing and loyal clients achieve their financial goals by adding value in areas such as:

  • Retirement aspirations

  • Ensuring and maintaining Tax efficiency

  • Business exit strategies

  • Investment solutions

  • Family protection

The company is headed up by Ben Gittins who recently tied the knot with the lovely Kirsty, who is in fact, one of the Farndon Soapbox Derby’s organisers and has been from day 1.  We took time out to meet with Ben and Kirsty Gittins to ask them more about their business and why they wanted to support the Farndon Soapbox Derby.

‘We are delighted to be sponsoring the inaugural Farndon Soapbox Derby. When Tim Kenney (also known as Soapy Tim) first mentioned the opportunity to be a part of the Farndon Soapbox Derby, as a local business, we were more than happy to offer our support.’ said Ben.

Ben specialises in retirement income strategies and later life planning working with large family groups and business to grow assets in a tax efficient manner

Kirsty and Ben both live in Farndon with Ben growing up in the neighbouring village of Holt.  As a result of this, the area itself is very important to both of them and they want to support the local community and area wherever possible.  Both Ben and Kirsty pride themselves on being a personal face to face business and value a honest and transparent relationship with their clients, removing jargon and helping them along the path of achieving their long term financial ambitions.

‘We are passionate about being part of the local community, and pride ourselves on being a business that is recognised locally for doing the right thing and a huge part of this, is our charitable commitment.  Each year, every member of the team (even our head of wellbeing Ollie the office dog), has a say in which charities we sponsor and who benefits.  We are delighted that this year, The Hospice of the Good Shepherd will benefit from the Farndon Soapbox Derby which we are so proud to have thrown our support behind. We are all extremely looking forward to the occasion, especially as Kayleigh, Kirsty and myself are all very big racing enthusiasts!’
